Homes are getting multiple offers and selling after being on the market for a short amount of time. This high demand and low supply is why we are seeing such an increase in home prices.

 

 

The Santa Clarita Valley is currently facing a shortage with last year marking the lowest amount of Average Annual Monthly Active Listings since 2006.  In February 2020 the Santa Clarita Valley had 320 new listings and 223 closed sales. This February brokers added 7 fewer listings to the MLS, yet there were 17 more closed sales.  In addition, the total dollar value of sales in Santa Clarita to date increased by $111,026,000 from February 2020.
